The results of the latest Eurobarometer Survey show that there is a growing belief among many European citizens that nuclear energy is the most effective option for ensuring adequate supplies of energy while combating the scourge of climate change. A new spirit of pragmatism has made the public more receptive than for decades to the irrefutable social, economic and environmental arguments in favour of nuclear energy.
